Go-Go Girls

New SS, at Lit Up Magazine. Read it here:

the white boot

Hmm, almost straight reportage really. Taken from the time when I run a bar in Thailand. The Barcelona Bar. The bar was tiny, never made a profit, and closed nine months after opening. A very hippy bar. We gave away free drinks, free food, and let people stay on in the bedrooms for free. Might be why we went bankrupt, ha!

However, I'm certain that anyone who went there will remember it, it was chaos!

The Taxi Club

New SS at The Beat: The Taxi Club. Adults Only

Darlinghurst, late nineties, a good place to be, but not now. Which, although sad, makes me glad that I was there to witness, observe, and record, The Last Days of the Cross!

So, we'll go no more a-roving
So late into the night,
Though the heart be still as loving,
And the moon be still as bright.

For the sword outwears its sheath,
And the soul wears out the breast,
And the heart must pause to breathe,
And love itself have rest.

Though the night was made for loving,
And the day returns too soon,
Yet we'll go no more a-roving
By the light of the moon.
